Quotations

Quotations provided by Label Grafix are based on the specifications supplied by the customer, including quantity, size, material, finishing, artwork and delivery requirements. If these specifications change after a quotation has been provided, Label Grafix may need to revise the quotation to reflect the updated requirements.

Orders and Acceptance

An order may proceed once the customer accepts a quotation, approves artwork, makes any required payment, or otherwise confirms instructions for Label Grafix to proceed.

Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers are responsible for checking all supplied artwork and information before it is submitted for production, including:

• Spelling
• Grammar
• Names
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Website addresses
• Images
• Logos
• QR codes
• Barcodes
• Colours
• Dimensions
• Bleed and safe areas

Label Grafix may identify obvious issues, but cannot guarantee detection of every error in customer-supplied artwork or information.

Artwork Preparation and Design

Where Label Grafix prepares or adjusts artwork, or where design work falls outside the agreed scope of a quotation, this may involve separate charges. Additional revisions requested outside the agreed scope may also be charged separately.

Artwork Approval

Customers must carefully review digital proofs before approving them for production. Approving artwork confirms acceptance of:

• Wording
• Spelling
• Contact information
• Layout
• Positioning
• Sizing
• Images
• Logos
• Colours, within normal screen-to-print limitations
• Agreed product specifications

Once production begins, changes to an approved job may result in additional charges or may no longer be possible.

Colour Variation

Screen colours and printed colours can vary due to a number of factors, including:

• RGB to CMYK conversion
• Paper and material
• Coatings and lamination
• Printing method
• Lighting
• Differences between production runs

Reasonable colour variation may occur as a result of these factors.

Print, Trim and Finishing Tolerances

Printing, cutting, folding, die cutting and other finishing processes can involve small production tolerances. Customers should keep critical text and logos a safe distance from trim lines.

Quantities

Production quantities may sometimes vary slightly due to normal print production processes. If an exact quantity is critical, the customer should advise Label Grafix before production begins.

Materials and Stock

Paper, label stock, adhesives, laminates and other materials may vary slightly between batches, or may occasionally become unavailable. Any material substitution that materially affects the job will be discussed with the customer.

Turnaround Times

Turnaround begins once all items required to start production have been received, including:

• Approved artwork
• Confirmed specifications
• Payment, where required
• Any other production information requested by Label Grafix

Turnaround times are estimates unless a deadline is specifically confirmed in writing.

Urgent Orders

Urgent work may be available subject to production capacity at the time, and may involve additional charges.

Customer Changes

Changes requested after a quotation has been provided or artwork has been approved may affect:

• Price
• Production time
• Materials
• Delivery

Payment

Payment requirements will be shown on the quotation or invoice provided for each job, and may include:

• Full payment before production
• A deposit
• Balance payment before collection or delivery
• Another arrangement agreed with the customer

Production may be held until any required payment has been received.

Cancellation

If a customer cancels an order, design, setup, materials and production costs already incurred may still be payable.

Delivery and Collection

Delivery may involve third-party courier or freight providers, and delivery timeframes can be affected by circumstances outside Label Grafix's control. Customers should inspect products promptly after receipt or collection.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Label Grafix promptly and provide:

• Customer / business name
• Order or invoice reference
• Description of the issue
• Photographs, if relevant
• Quantity affected

Reprints and Remedies

Whether a reprint, replacement, refund or other remedy applies will depend on the nature of the issue. Label Grafix is not normally responsible for errors that were visible on artwork approved by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

Customers confirm they have permission to use any logos, trademarks, photos, designs or written content supplied for reproduction. Label Grafix may refuse to reproduce content that appears unlawful or infringing.

Design Files and Working Files

Editable design files, source files, fonts, templates and internal production files are not automatically included unless agreed in writing.

Storage of Artwork

Label Grafix may retain artwork for convenience but does not guarantee permanent storage. Customers should keep their own copies of important files.

Portfolio and Product Photography

Label Grafix may photograph completed work for portfolio or promotional purposes. Customers can advise Label Grafix where a project is confidential or should not be used publicly.

Privacy

Personal and business information will be handled in accordance with the website Privacy Policy.

Events Outside Reasonable Control

Production or delivery may be affected by circumstances such as:

• Supplier delays
• Equipment failure
• Courier delays
• Material shortages
• Power outages
• Severe weather
• Other circumstances outside reasonable control

Australian Consumer Law

These terms operate alongside rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable legislation. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia.

Acceptance

By accepting a quotation, approving artwork, paying an invoice or instructing Label Grafix to proceed with production, the customer acknowledges acceptance of these Printing Terms & Conditions.
